I have honestly loved arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. My mom actually owns her own craft business, so I grew up being encouraged to be creative and make things. I remember spending hours pouring over my mom’s Stampin’ Up! catalogs looking at my favorite stamp sets and various products. When I was in middle school, there was a day when each student got to choose from a variety of activities to decide what they wanted to do for a reward. I can’t remember what the reward was for, but to this day I remember how elated I felt after I’d spent several hours stamping and using Stampin’ Up! products to make cards and little gifts.
About a decade later, I finally decided to sign up as an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! after several years of toying with the idea. Now I’ve been a demonstrator for almost eight years, and I’ve never regretted signing up. I initially signed up mainly for the discount to support my hobby, but I’ve gained so much more: friendships, a sense of accomplishment, an excuse to craft more, and, yes, a lot of really cute products and some pocket money. The longer I’m with this company, the more impressed I become. Not only do they make quality product, but they also treat their demonstrators so well and sincerely try to help others by doing things like partnering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I love this company.
